How it works
For buyers
- 1
Register and accept the buyer terms
One time, before your first bid. Bids are binding.
- 2
Enter your maximum
We bid the minimum increment needed on your behalf. Your maximum stays confidential.
- 3
Watch the lot close
Each lot closes on its own clock. A late bid extends that lot only, never the whole sale.
- 4
Win and settle
You receive an invoice showing the winning bid, the buyer premium and your total obligation.
What you pay
Equipment — paid directly to the seller by wire or certified funds.
Buyer premium — 6% of the winning bid, paid to New England Heavy Equipment LLC.
Your invoice lists all three figures. An invoice is not authorization to remove equipment — release happens after the seller confirms cleared funds.
Bid increments
| Current price | Increment |
|---|---|
| $0 – $5,000 | $100 |
| $5,001 – $25,000 | $250 |
| $25,001 – $50,000 | $500 |
| $50,001 and above | $1,000 |
For sellers
- 1
Photograph the machine
The app walks you through the shots buyers need — ID plate, hour meter, damage.
- 2
Describe it honestly
Hours, condition, known problems. Disclosed defects protect you at settlement.
- 3
Choose your auction type
Seller approval, reserve, or absolute with no reserve.
- 4
NEHE reviews and publishes
We check photos and details, then assign a lot number and schedule the auction.
